Dear Friends,

I, Thupten Donyo, Founder and former Director of Gyuto Foundation would like to express my deepest gratitude to all of our members and friends who have helped the Gyuto Foundation over 15 years. Your support, whether it has been big or small, is always deeply appreciated by all of the Gyuto monks. Because of your ongoing support, I'm very happy and proud to say that the Gyuto Foundation is now well established.

Today, I have a special news for you:

At the end of 2016, after 15 years of serving as Director, I'm officially handing over the management of the Foundation to the main Gyuto monastery in India. Becasue I want to foucs more on spporting our Hiamalayan children's education and their health care project.

Many of the children in the Himalayan regions can't afford to go to High School or College. Many children in that region don't even have a single toy to play with. Therefore, from now on I want to dedicate my life, for the benefit of the Himalayan children. I personally I don't have anything to give to the children, but I can work for them as long as I can.

I thank you all for your continued support of the Gyuto Foundation.

Once again, I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for all of your support throughout the years for the Gyuto monks and the Gyuto Foundation.

All of you are in our prayers.

-Venerable Thupten Donyo,
 Founder and Former Director
